Any Customer using our email services and providing Sure Mail (tm) with
a name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, domain name or URL
or any other personal or corporate information permits Sure Mail (tm)
to use such information for commercial purposes of its own, including
contacting Customers about related products and/or services which may
be of interest to them.
For each visitor to our website, our servers only recognize the
visitor's domain name or referring URL, and NOT the e-mail address. We
only collect information volunteered by the visitor, such as form
submittals (if applicable) and/or site registrations (if applicable).
This information can be used to improve the content of our website and
is NEVER shared with any other organizations or for any other commercial
purposes.
Any Customer who does not wish to receive further contacts from
Sure Mail (tm) should send Sure Mail (tm) a specific request (Example: stating
do NOT use or do NOT share or both) by
email
clearly marked 'Important Privacy Matter'.
Sure Mail (tm) NEVER sells, rent or otherwise distribute its mailing
lists in any way to third parties.
Sure Mail (tm) takes every precaution to protect our Customers’
private information. When Customers submit sensitive information
via email, your private information is fully protected, both online and
off-line. There are only a few authorized individuals with proper
security clearance on Sure Mail (tm)'s premises that have limited access
to our emails.
When our registration or order forms asks Customers to enter
sensitive or private information (such as credit card number), that
information is encrypted by PayPal and is protected with the best encryption
software in the industry: 128-bit SSL (Secure Sockets Layers). Additionally,
all credit card payments are outsourced to PayPal, an eBay company
with over $500 million in assets.
While on a secure page, such as the PayPal order form, the lock
icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator, Microsoft
Internet Explorer, Opera or Firefox becomes locked, as opposed to
un-locked, (or open) when you are just navigating a public site.
While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online,
we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line.
All of our Customers’ private or corporate information, not just the
sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices.
Only authorized personnel who need the information to perform a
specific function (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service
representative) are granted limited access to personally identifiable
information.
All Sure Mail (tm)'s employees must use password-protected
screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must
re-enter their password to re-gain access to your private information.
Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and
privacy practices. Every month, as well as any time new policies are
added or modified, Sure Mail (tm) employees are notified and/or reminded
about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to
ensure our Customers’ information is fully protected.
Finally, all of our servers where we store personally identifiable
information as well as all emails are kept in a fully secure environment at all times. Physical access
to all our data centers can only be possible with the controlled use
of magnetic cards and iris ID security devices. Additionally, all our
data centers are fully manned, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by trained
security guards, and utilizing closed-circuit video surveillance
equipment at all times.
